Does the trial require a credit card?
No. The 14-day trial starts without a card. The account is not silently converted into a paid subscription; an owner chooses monthly or annual billing to continue.
Are optional settings paid add-ons?
No. Optional means the owner can turn the workflow on when the store is ready. It remains part of the core store plan.
Do new core product releases cost extra?
No. New capabilities released into the maintained core store product are included in the same plan. External providers, equipment, and separately scoped migration work remain separate.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes. The standard annual price is ten times the monthly price, equivalent to two months at no charge compared with paying monthly for a full year.
What does the founding price cover?
Founding pricing is reserved automatically for the first 25 store organizations while the offer is available. It includes one 60-minute setup walkthrough, one supported standard spreadsheet import, one 30-minute launch follow-up, and direct email support. Billing shows the exact eligible monthly or annual price before the owner enters Checkout.
Are payment-processing or hardware fees included?
No. ConsignEngine does not take a percentage of store sales. The separately operated card-terminal provider may charge processing or equipment fees, and the store supplies its counter hardware and label stock.
How are additional locations added?
Additional locations are support-assisted. An organization owner requests the location from Billing, reviews the exact Stripe change, and the location is unlocked only after the subscription change is verified.
